Central Meaner Street is the first and only full-length LP by EX~PO (now Papermaps) -- a Toronto-based rock quartet formed by producer/songwriter Dean Marino with Todd Harrison (bass and synthesizer), Wendy Leung (keyboards, vocals) and Bobby Lee (drums). Their music blends elements of indie rock, art rock, experimental, shoegaze and electronica while maintaining strong pop sensibilities.
Papermaps rehearses, writes and records out of Dean’s studio, Chemical Sound, which is known for its warm and spacious atmosphere as well as a massive collection of vintage gear.
